SW TKO Joint Venture, LLC (Lupton Lakes)
A 365-acre gravel mining project located between Brighton, Colorado, and Fort Lupton, Colorado, on the west side of Highway 85. Lafarge North America commenced the mining project in June 2006. We anticipate that it will take approximately 13 years for the mining to be completed, with concurrent reclamation, yielding approximately 11,500 acre feet of water storage in two compacted clay lined water storage reservoirs. more

A 260 acre sand and gravel mining site with deposit varying between 17 to 35 feet deep, containing approximately 14.8 million tons of mineral resources. Long range plan is for a slurry-lined 3,000 acre feet water storage reservoir. more
